There are no ghosts?

What I would like to know is this: where do these religious people get their information from to say that there are no ghosts when it is proven almost every day that they do exist. I would say that their statements are fabricated by their imagination or what they want to believe based on their understanding of what they have read or been told.

Catholics say that if you haven’t confessed your sins before you die you go straight to hell. The Church of God preaches that when you die you stay in your grave until Judgment Day. Now these statements are proven wrong by the sightings of ghosts.  Their interpretation of biblical scripture is not the only viable interpretation.

If for example Church of God believers mean your body stays in the grave, then I’ll understand. Unless the person is cremated.  Then it's still a belief I don't understand.  To my thinking, the soul of the deceased is still quite alive and the only one that can destroy it is God Himself. At least that was what I was thought. I know for a fact that when you die your soul is out of your body (I've talked before about my personal experience with that), and that a body is without any life.  The only reasons we have to respect the body is because it is the creation of God and also to be respectful to the people that loved that person.

In the month of May in 2011, I was declared dead at the hospital and my soul went on a trip, but don’t ask me where. It was frightening, but my soul came back to my body and when I woke up I could describe what I had seen. It was as if I was the only one on the planet. So that’s why I say having died for a while myself, I can actually say that your soul doesn’t die but it sure gets away from your body quickly.  And once your soul has left your body you are leaving behind something to be remembered by the loved ones, until you are buried or incinerated.

Don’t let anyone try to tell you that there are no ghosts, because there are. They are the souls that have left the body of the deceased and have nowhere to go until Judgment Day. I’ve had a couple encounters with ghosts and that has made a believer out of me.
