The invisible jungle

The more I read about the super natural, the more I think that once we die we end up in a jungle.  That's because reading about black shadows, monsters, phantoms, and also animals, that’s what I’m beginning to think. I'm not implying that these things don’t exist, because I have no proof that they do or don’t. I will find out for myself in the not too distant future. 


It would not surprise me if all those things did exist in the afterlife because they were created by the Creator and to me anything that was created by the Creator was given the breath of life.  That’s why I think that animals have a soul. If so they can appear as spirits. As for insects or anything like that, I think once they die they are actually gone for good. I say animals must have a soul for the simple reason most animals can be trained to do things. For instance dogs cats and some birds just to name a few.  Because they can be trained, they can think - because they can think they have consciousness. Because they have consciousness they have the power to make choices.  That's getting pretty close to the territory of having a soul.

What is the truth?

2012?

What is the truth?  I've been asking myself that question with respect to when, if ever, is Doomsday going to happen. I read what the predictions are from a couple of people that said it would come in May of 2012. And of course there a lot of predictions about December of this year. They also predicted how its going to happen and the advanced warnings we are going to see before it happens. I also wrote on this blog about these predictions.

According to what I was taught by Catholics, when I was practicing that religion, was that God will never destroy the World again. Man will destroy himself by fire.

I will go with that reasoning, because the way things are in the world today with nuclear weapons proliferation, what could possibly cause more fire then that? And this kind of fire turns everything into dust instantly.

Mind you, I’m not predicting the end of the world, because I don’t know anymore than others might. But the way things are at this time and the tension that is building up with certain nations (with the instigator in the form of the President of Iran and his not-so-subtle innuendos against the USA and threatening the destruction of  Israel), it isn't that far-fetched an idea.

I also believe that if any one of these nations that do have nuclear weapons even hint at starting something then we can say this is the beginning of the end.

Some people are weird.

Some people are weird. The reason for saying this, is that I had some visitors recently that I hadn't seen for a long time and in the conversation I mentioned about my blog.  That got them interested and they wanted to read it. I open Bob's Ghost first and after reading it, they asked me if I believed in ghosts. I told her that I did and that we also had one in the house.

She did not believe that either and neither did her husband. After discussing about ghosts for a while, I asked them if they would go in the cemetery at night and both of them said no. I asked them why? Their answer was that it was just too creepy.

I then said well if you don’t believe in ghost why would you say its to creepy? They both looked at me as if I was stupid. Then the conversation changed to another subject and it was about my rants blog, they really liked that one.

This, is what I find weird. People will not go into a cemetery at night, but they don’t believe that ghost do exist. What exactly are they afraid of happening? Are they afraid that some of the deceased will come out of their graves? Apparently not, but if you don't believe in ghosts, what do you have to fear or find creepy?

Dogs' souls

Every dog must have a soul, somewhere deep inside


Where all his hurts and grievances are buried with his pride.


Where he decides the good and bad, the wrong way from the right,


And where his judgement carefully is hidden from our sight.


A dog must have a secret place, where every thought abides,


A sort of close acquaintance that he trusts in and confides.


And when accused unjustly for himself, He cannot speak,


Rebuked, He finds within his soul, the comfort he must seek.


He'll love, tho'he is unloved, and he'll serve tho'badly used,


And one kind word will wipe away the times when he's abused.


Altho' his heart may break in two, his love will still be whole,


Because God gave to every dog an understanding Soul!

Could it be?

The end of the world is approaching according to predictions that have been going around lately. Or once again. Well I don’t know about that, but if you have been reading the news and listening to reports from the people quoting the Bible, it says that before the end of the world arrives there will be storms, like we never seen before, disease that can not be cured and just recently one disease has been discovered that there is no cure for it

So far we have had all this stuff happen and we're still getting them. There have been earthquakes - recently in Quebec here, we a little one (4.1 magnitude). Recently Afghanistan and Pakistan had a 5.5 earthquake and Oklahoma had a 5.6 magnitude one. There's also been a lot of flooding going on. I’m beginning to wonder if these guys are right in their prediction of the end of times.

I guess when it happens a lot of us will not have to pay for any more heat in the winter. So maybe it's not so bad.

Unbelievers

There is a book called life after death. I have mentioned this book in one of my previous posts. In this book (and also according to what I have read in other books and the Bible), its no wonder that preachers do not believe in the supernatural or anything that goes along with that.  In this book, they claim that the soul of a deceased person is put in a deep sleep-like mode and does not remember anything.  It will only wake up when called upon on Judgement day. I take it to mean that the soul doesn’t go anywhere but stays in the grave like it says in this book.  

Now I must say that something is wrong here.

We, the ones who have seen a ghost, been touched by a ghost or heard voices with no one around can't really make sense of that souls waiting in the grave until Judgement day. Where do those ghosts come from if this theory is true?  A ghost sometimes manifests itself into a resemblance of a real person that it knew when he or she was alive. There are times things are being moved around when no one else is present to see it.  There are stories of objects being thrown around but whoever is doing it can not be seen. I hope that you people who believe this theory of souls not going anywhere can explain what these occurrences are.  I also hope you are not trying to tell us that we have an over imaginative mind.  

In the Bible, Paul tells us that most of the disciples could not read or write so they had to get some one else to write for them.  Now these disciples were humans like we are and they told what they knew the best way that they could remember to tell what they were suppose to know. But being human and telling exactly what happened did they stretch the truth? Were they listening to something then telling it to someone else with a little twist because they could not exactly remember what it was?. The person writing it would write what he was being told and from there things kept on changing until such time that it was told so many times that what ever came out was completely different from what it started out to be.  Then the Bible being translated into so many languages, some words had to be replace by other words that fit in the sentence but at the same time change some of the meaning.

Is that what happened with this soul in a deep sleep mode? Sometimes I thank God for the little amount of brains that I have because if  I could not use it the proper way I would turn out to be an atheist. All I can say is that there is a Supreme deity and he’s responsible for everything on this Earth and I have faith in him.

This blog was suppose to be about the supernatural. Well it was to a certain extent, but when it concerns the supernatural then the Bible has to come in to it because the Creator has to be involved since he was the creator of all living things.  Hence this blog discusses both topics - God and ghosts.

What I have written so far about ghosts are things that have happened to me.  I mentioned before about a ghost in my house - I still have her. If you're interested you can always go back to my old posts to read about her. Where she is at this time and what she does. Like I mentioned she has moved into the basement and if I move anything around by the next morning its all back where it was.

                                        

Now my next statement might (and it might not) offend anyone. In the Bible it states that Jesus said if we want to get to God the father we have to go through him.  Jesus says him and His Father are one. By reading this kind of statement I can only come to one conclusion and that is that Jesus is God. Although the Bible states that Jesus was born of the Virgin Mary that could be another story invented by man, or simply an interpretation or a metaphor.  

Remember all preachers say that there are no ghosts. They are proven to be wrong on that, but they still believe in bad Spirits coming to earth to possess people. I know there are bad ones.  Why could  there  not be some good ones too? I know some of this might sound like nonsense but its my belief. I have faith that there is a Creator and I believe in him and the ten commandments.  But I also believe in ghosts.  I don't think there is any issue with believing in both.
